Currently I am in my junior year of high school at Ruth Asawa School of the arts. I have been playing violin for roughly 6 to 7 years now and I have been doing viola for about year now. While it will be my first time teaching I hope to gain more experience for the future as a violinist/violist.

Hello! I’m Julian, I’m a Junior, and I play piano. I have played classical piano for almost 10 whole years now. I can teach very early beginner students to intermediate students. If you want to learn how to play piano or expand on your current skills, I’ll provide a path for you to do so.

I am a senior in high school and I have had a passion for singing my whole life. I have been given many vocal lessons on technique and how to perform confidently.

Im in 12th grade and I am passionate about bass and classical music. I love playing as well as listening to all the great works. I can teach classical music and introduction to double bass. I am a german bow player which allows me help students work on their technique with the german bow. I can work with french bow players as well but french bow technique would not be my specialty. I can also teach some basic music theory.

I am a junior at SOTA and have been playing the viola for five years. Last summer I attended the Brevard Music Center summer festival, and I have recently started my first year at the SFCM pre-college program. I mainly have experience in classical music, so that will be the genre that I teach. I can also help with general technique at an intermediate level.

My name is Evelyn Holmes. I am a 12th grader at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts with a passion for the violin. I have been playing the violin for almost 9 years and have extensive performing experience with several forms of music, including chamber, orchestral, and solo music. I am primarily classically trained with some experience in folk music. Chamber music is my favorite to play, but I think all types of music are wonderful!

My name is Zolin am I’m in 12th grade. I am happy to teach all levels. I can also teach specifics like vibrato, bow, left hand, etc.

My name is Tiffany Leung and I have been playing french horn for 5 years. I really enjoy going to the symphony and listening to music. My favorite horn concerto is the Gliere horn concerto in Bb major. I can teach beginners which is typically from elementary to middle school.

I’m a senior in high school. I’ve been playing piano since I was 6. I love my music! I love listening to the harmonies and appreciating the music and experimenting with phrasing. I love figuring out the issues I’m having with a passage and gradually fixing them. I can teach classical music. Right now, I’m working on a Franck concerto, Bach partita, Schumann sonata, and Scriabin etude.

I’m a 10th grader in the piano department at SOTA, I love playing in chamber music groups. I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old and singing in San Francisco Boys Chorus since I was 6 years old. I can teach beginner pianists and teach beginning music theory.
