Currently I am in 12th grade at Ruth Asawa School of the arts. I have been playing violin for roughly 6 to 7 years now and I have been doing viola for about year now. While it will be my first time teaching I hope to gain more experience for the future as a violinist/violist.

Hello! I’m Julian, I’m a 12th grader, and I play piano. I have played classical piano for almost 10 whole years now. I can teach very early beginner students to advanced students. If you want to learn how to play piano or expand on your current skills, I’ll provide a path for you to do so.

I am a 12th grader at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. I have played the clarinet for 8 years and now plays the oboe. I’m in my school’s orchestra and peninsula youth orchestra. I can teach oboe fundamentals.

I am a junior at SOTA and have been playing the viola for five years. Last summer I attended the Brevard Music Center summer festival, and I have recently started my first year at the SFCM pre-college program. I mainly have experience in classical music, so that will be the genre that I teach. I can also help with general technique at an intermediate level.

My name is Addis, and I’m an 11th grader at SOTA. I have been trained in classical and contemporary flute for 7 years. I can teach classical flute. When I played flute for the first time in 4th grade, I immediately fell in love with the instrument. Continuing to play the flute has brought so much joy into my life. Over the years I have only become more passionate about keeping the gift of music alive. I’ve always had a positive experience with my music instructors, so I want to give that experience to others and share music with more people.

I’m an 11th grader in the piano department at SOTA, I love playing in chamber music groups. I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old and singing in San Francisco Boys Chorus since I was 6 years old. I can teach beginner pianists and teach beginning music theory.

Hello, I am in 11th grade and I have been playing for 7 years. I love playing music specifically classical music and this will be my first time teaching people. I can teach beginner violinists.

I am in 11th grade. I started playing piano in second grade, then trumpet in 4th grade and I have been serious about jazz for about 3 years. I also play horn, and some drums and guitar. I’m well versed in jazz, but I’m comfortable teaching other styles as well. I can teach technique, jazz improvisation, as well as composition and arranging.

I am a 10th grade soprano in the vocal department at RASOTA. I have been singing my entire life but I’ve only started actually doing music 4 years ago. I have been studying a few genres, like jazz, and musical theater and classical. I plan to learn even more types of music like R&B.
